- Preparation time - 10 minutes
- Serving Size - 2 servings
- 1/2 medium sized papaya
- 1/2 cup of fresh orange juice or fresh pineapple juice
- 2 teaspoons of organic honey
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of ice or cold water for your desired consistency
- (Optional) A pinch of salt for added flavor
The first thing we would like to do is to clean our papaya and then cut it in half. Once the fruit is cut in half we are able to clean out the seeds from the middle of the fruit. After the seeds are removed we can peel the outer shell from the papaya.
We can then place the papaya, orange juice or pineapple juice, honey, lemon juice, and ice cubes in the blender. We recommend blending for up to 10 seconds but it can be done for shorter or longer depending on your desired consistency. After it is blended we recommend serving immediately and you can add more lemon juice or sugar to add more flavor to the drink.
